Women's History Month Award Nominees Guidelines

In honor of Women's History Month, students, staff and faculty members can nominate persons to be honored at the 2016 Women's History Month Awards Reception to be held on Thursday, March 24, 4-6 p.m. in the Eaton Lounge, Dewar.

Nominations should be submitted by 5 p.m., March 18, to Harry Bradshaw Matthews, Associate Dean and Director, Office of Intercultural Affairs.

The three categories for nominations are: 

  • Student Award - To be presented to a student who shows leadership by being a student advocate regarding campus issues, and who is involved in activities as a positive role model.
  • Staff Award - To be presented to a staff member who respects the individuality of students and works closely with them to have a positive impact upon the college community.
  • Faculty Award - To be presented to a mentor who has been inspirational to students and who has contributed to the progress of women.
